Editor
Since 1986, Doug has edited hundreds of short stories, poems, plays, essays, resumes, theses, articles, letters, dissertations, novels, memoirs, and screenplays.  Recently he finished working on Katie Sullivan's harrowing memoir The End of the World, which details her three-and-a-half-year experience working to identify human remains and issue death certificates after 9/11 (coming to bookstores in 2011).  Doug's editing fee is $70/hour.  Every editing job comes with a free estimate.

Proofreader
Doug also proofreads, with thirty years of experience proofing everything from newspaper articles to ad copy to bios to menus to theatre programs.  If you want your writing to look and sound professional--whether it be a blog, a work of fiction, an application or a resume--you simply cannot afford spelling, grammatical or typographical errors.  Your readers, clients, colleagues, teachers, students, employers and employees will have more faith in you when your prose has been carefully proofed.
